Thank you, Superman, Gothmog, TJ, Tink and Sally and anyone else who crawled out of the woodwork, either of free will or from peer pressure, the past couple of days. It was lovely to see you again.
all but one were surprises...it was like This Is Your Life or something equally bizarro. I'd like to claim some power, but I think it's more along the lines of herd mentality.
That thresd has now become one of my favorite thresds ever! OT has been so much fun since you have time for us now, Kimmah. Please don't leave us again, K?
I agree with Nutz. I was ready to give up on OT and then suddenly it is starting to feel like the old OT again. It's been so nice to see old faces, to see old threads linked and just for it to have the old feeling again. Okay, I need to go before I start feeling all warm and fuzzy. *shudder*
It was the nostalgia factor for me. I had a sh!t-awful day on Wednesday--the kind where everyone yells at you, and you have too much crap to do, and the only good thing in your year has been your students and you have to say GOODBYE to them that night. You know the kind, right?
Anyway, I was remembering what used to carry me through sh!tty days like that, and it was on-line banter on OT. Curiosity got the better of me, and I peeked when I haven't in a long while and saw that thread on top. When I saw Kim using a couple of sigpics that I had made, the nostalgia was too much for me to resist.
It was fun, and I do miss the banter. But not enough to stick around, I don't think. I can't tell if it's that I'm still too upset, or just to stubborn. But there it is.
Glad to make your day, though, Kim--which also helped make mine, in a way.

I was never intimidated by you before. But after seeing your powers at work by getting those old folks *snicker* to post? Now I'm intimidated.

It doesn't matter how it happened, but that was definitely a perfect storm of years gone by.
Now can we get any of them to stick around?
Even I was feeling like I was at a class reunion. So very wonderful. Much love to you for dragging them all out.
And I'm with Meemo. How do we get them to stick around?
am plotting, am plotting.
hi~ your blog is great and your hair is fabulous! waves hi to Landru in case he sees this~
I saw it. I thought a lot about posting. But I'm so very tied to that whole "leaving and not coming back" meaning something, sort of thing.
I do have to say, though, it made me nostalgic, too.
Bawdy -- I will pass your greetings on to The Landru.
i love ilse. and i appreciate that stance, no matter how much it sucks for me.
Hi Kim,
Thought I would pop in to pay you a visit. I saw the pic you posted on OT. Absolutely stunning!
